play it safe you have a computer get the spec on your particular oil fired heating appliance the size of your piping varies depending on how far away your tank is from your appliance im sure you can find the specs which take into effect the size of the unit and the distance it has to pump from i hope this helps in a chamber? your piping should be run secured or fastened to a stable area and away from all high temp combustible areas of the facilityWhat size pipe should i use for an oil supply and should the joints be in a chamber?
Normal oil line is 3/8'; OD. All your connection must be flare fittings (no compression fittings) and if ';chamber'; you mean inside the front panel, it's okay! You'll have a Firematic valve connected directly off burner pump anyway, then out to your oil filter connection. What size pipe should i use for an oil supply and should the joints be in a chamber?
depends what the oil supply is for but if it is heating oil then 10mm pipe is big enough
