I've never understood why we didn't make a deal with Saddam, in the 1st place. We leave you alone, you do as you please. In exchange, you keep the extremist ragheads in check, and guarantee us crude at 25% below world market price. That's why we put him there to begin with.

Most of our oil comes from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. From what I understand Iraq has never been able to consistently get its oil production reliable due to the insurgents attacking oil production facilities and pipelines. It won't affect either. No matter what we do, the oil is controlled by the Saudi's, who have all the time and resources they need to just sit and wait and manipulate us all.





Iraq was a vendetta that was poorly planned and greatly misunderestimated.
Has nothing to do with either, but...other obama policies will destroy us oil supply and the economy.
He is leaving 50 thousand troops there indefinitely to protect our interest (supposedly) my does that mean he is an oil man now, and only doing this to make him and his buddies rich , RIGHT !
I don't think we have the money to pull them out now. They may have to find their own way home, and abandon all the guns and equipment
