people will not wait till the barrel price reaches 400 us dollars.they will soon abandon their cars and resort to the Chinese method of transportation.....the bicycles.i think there will be a huge confusion in all aspects of life because the rising oil prices are causing the price of every thing else to rise too.If the world's oil supply topped out in 2005 and in ten years oil will be $400 a barrel should I?

You need to catch up on the news. We have enough oil in North Dakota to run the U.S. for a long time.
No invest in companies researching more effective hydrogen production. The companies that create the processes and the machines will hold the patents for a long time and stand to make huge profits.

Problem is only 3% of oil is feasably recoverable. Though we are starting to use tar sand, oil shale and other heavy oils.
oil dosent have to hit 400 a barrel.200 will destroy every major economy in the world.your talking world war at 400.
if the real truth is told about oil people would ****.governments can not get their heads around it.our whole way of life has been built on cheap oil.its going to get nasty.just think about it gas at 4 times the price if you can buy it.
Mankind has always had the ability to find solutions to any problems and I feel sure that when oil reaches that price or runs out completely an alternative will be found. Already it has been proved that cars can be run on sea water. Oil can even be grown. So rest assured the problem will be solved
